Water Truck Driver

Job Locations:

Position Summary:
Equipment Transport LLC offers new equipment, shift differential, and full benefits and incentive packages.

Major Responsibilities:
– Loading, unloading and transporting water and fresh water to well sites and disposals.
– Hauling and delivering fresh water to containment ponds and well sites for oil & gas operations. Drilling pads are often located in remote areas.
– Drive in all types of weather and terrain.
– Filling frac tanks on site.
– Gauge and record levels on production water tanks.
– Properly inspect equipment on a daily basis.
– Pre and post trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
– Maintain accurate DOT log books and paperwork such as manifests, water tickets, pay sheets, etc.
– Compliance with DOT regulations.

Position Summary:

– Drivers average 55-60 hrs. per week. Company runs 12-hr shifts starting at 6:00am and 6:00pm.

Diesel Technician

Job Locations:

Position Summary:

Equipment Transport is seeking a qualified Diesel Technician for our facility located in Triadelphia, WV & Carrizo Springs, TX. Local candidates are strongly preferred.

A Diesel Technician will diagnose, adjust, and repair all company equipment including, but not limited to the following: Engines (gas and diesel), Electrical/Brake/Cooling Systems, Transmissions (manual and automatic), Clutches, Differentials/Power dividers, PTO systems, Starters/Alternators, Refrigeration systems, Air conditioning systems (including cold and hot units), Fan clutches, Engine electronics (gas/diesel), Power steering systems, and Steering gear box (manual and power).

Major Responsibilities:

– Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services
– Identify warrantable repairs and document on repair order
– Maintain work area appearance and safety
– Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure that they are working properly.
– Perform duties with little or no supervision and in a timely and efficient manner
– Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments, as well as power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, and jacks and hoists.
– Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition.
– Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
– Adjust and replace brake, tighten bolts and screws, and reassemble equipment.
– Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions
– Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices.
– Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications.
– Specialize in repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmissions and differentials, to include replacing complete assemblies, turbochargers, fuel system components etc.
– Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor


  • Must have newer Cat and Cummings comprehension. Ability to use computer to troubleshoot trucks
  • Must be 21 years old
  • 3 to 5 years CMV diesel maintenance experience required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Vocational/Technical or certification preferred
  • Specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials), OEM training courses, ASE Certification, and 608/609 certifications preferred
  • Proficiency in the use of all tools of trade (including welding equipment, diagnostic equipment, hand and power tools) required
  • Must own and or be willing to provide proper tools to work on equipment
  • A valid driver’s license is required
  • Current CDL license with air brake certification preferred
  • Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems.

Parts and Warranty Manager

General Summary: The Parts and Warranty Manager will be responsible for both strategic and daily management of the fleet parts inventory and cores, including efficient sourcing, procurement, and distribution of parts and supplies at multiple locations. Will also be responsible for monitoring, tracking, and submission of warranty claims and validation of warranty credit.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a reliable supplier base. Determine best sources for supplies and parts. Responsible for analysis of new sources and products, and negotiation of best prices to minimize company overhead. Negotiate pricing terms and long-term contracts with suppliers through corporate procurement.
  • Work with Parts vendors to ensure timely delivery and “best possible” source and cost
  • Manage corporate parts inventory; including the inventory at each location to ensure availability and timely delivery. This may be accomplished through on-site inventory or “just-in-time” purchase and delivery. Set inventory levels. Forecast parts requirements to ensure timely replenishment. Set and enforce inventory procedures. Track inventory levels with reports and annual audit.
  • Inform Fleet personnel on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available.
  • Maintain the integrity of the inventory database through addition, deletion and changes to parts numbers and supplies.
  • Maintain a clean organized parts room.
  • Work with Fleet Manager to determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, mechanic requests, or mechanics’ descriptions of malfunctions.
  • Ensure cores are returned and credited
  • Work with Fleet Manager and VP of maintenance to set and monitor parts budget.
  • Work with Fleet Manager to track parts usage to ensure effective repair or identify trends.
  • Manage warranty claims by preparation and submission in a timely accurate manner. Ensure credits are applied in a timely accurate manner.
  • Work with Fleet Manager to ensure that each location has identified potential warranty claims.
  • Audit purchase orders and invoices
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and transfer of parts and supplies.


  • 5 – 7 years’ experience in sourcing, inventory management and replenishment required, including use of computerized ordering systems.
  • 3+ years’ experience in vendor selection and management required.
  • Experience with TMT maintenance software preferred
  • Experience as a heavy or medium truck mechanic preferred.
  • Experience using accounting or purchasing software preferred.
  • College degree in Business or Accounting preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of parts operations, including supply chain operations and inventory control required.
  • Thorough knowledge of heavy and medium duty truck parts preferred.

West Texas Business Development Manager

Position Summary: The West Texas Business Development Manager is responsible for (i) developing new and additional sources of revenue for the Company, (ii) ensuring that all documentation necessary for performance of such work is completed, (iii) conducting inspections and other diligence with respect to work sites prior to commencement of the work, and (iv) and assisting others to facilitate operations and billing.
